The third edition of NATAS Connect was successfully held on 7 October at Guoco Midtown Network Hub. The event brought together NATAS members and industry partners to foster meaningful collaborations and new opportunities in tourism.

The programme featured presentations by the Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador to the Republic of Singapore, HUB@NATAS, Gulf Air and Globus Family of Brands.

Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador to the Republic of Singapore

The event featured a welcome remarks video by Ms. Adriana María Mira de Pereira, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, followed by a sharing by H.E. Jaime José López Badía, Ambassador of El Salvador to Singapore, who introduced the country’s diverse tourism offerings, cultural attractions and opportunities for collaboration with Singapore’s travel industry. Members also learnt about regional multi-country tourism packages and had the opportunity to sample food brought by the delegation, offering a taste of Latin American cuisine.

HUB@NATAS

The session provided an overview of HUB@NATAS, an online platform co-developed by NATAS and Amadeus, that enables travel agencies to access and book a variety of travel content, while streamlining end-to-end operations through automation and validation. The session also covered key industry challenges and opportunities, followed by a demonstration of the platform.

Gulf Air and Globus Family of Brands

Gulf Air shared an introduction to its fleet and what sets the airline apart, highlighting its unique offerings and service experience. Members also learnt more about Globus Family of Brands, with a focus on its Cosmos brand and its travel experiences. Adding to the excitement, Gulf Air generously gave away two pairs of airline tickets to members during the event.
