9th NATAS General Membership Meeting (GMM) – 23rd July 2024

NATAS held our 9th General Membership Meeting (GMM) for NATAS members at Justco @ UIC Building on 23rd July 2024. The theme was airline, finance, tourism and manpower.

The 9th GMM featured presentations by 5 partners :

Gulf Air

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, shared with members their offerings. The airlines commenced operations in 1950 and is one of the first commercial airlines established in the Middle East. Today, they are a major international carrier serving 49 cities in 27 countries.

Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB)

The Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) shared with members their tourism strategy for the future. EDB is an investment promotion agency with overall responsibility for attracting investment into the Kingdom and supporting initiatives that enhance the investment climate.

Blue Ways Travel

Blue Ways Ltd Tours specializes in premium tourism in Greece. They shared their offerings with agents which includes packages that cater to group and private travellers. Blue Ways emphasizes on quality service, professionalism, and hassle-free vacations.

UnionPay International

UnionPay International (UPI) is a subsidiary of China UnionPay focused on the growth and support of UnionPay’s global business. UPI has partnered with more than 2600 institutions worldwide and enabled card acceptance in 183 countries and regions, with issuance in 82 countries and regions. They also shared their payment solutions with members.

Singapore Hotel Association

Singapore Hotel Association (SHA), an appointed programme partner by Workforce Singapore shared with agents on the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Tourism Professionals, and how they can tap on this funding to receive salary support for their employees.

The session concluded with a networking tea break for our members and partners.
