Chan Brothers Travel alerts the public who receive unsolicited invitations from companies claiming to be subsidiary of or affiliated w ith Chan Brothers Travel to exercise their due diligence and vigilance before responding to these invitations.
The 45 years old travel agency has received numerous feedbacks recently regarding unscrupulous companies with unsavoury intent exploiting its longstanding reputation in the travel industry to solicit prospects for time-sharing ventures.
These invitations come with purported offer of heavily subsidised or free holiday packages to Bali , Thailand or Hong Kong for 2 adults and 2 children below 18 years of age in return for a 90-minute attendance at a company preview and feedback session.
Scam reports have been made to STB, CASE and NATAS while scam alerts have been posted on the company's website and sent to subscribers of its electronic mailer. The alleged perpetrator is not named as investigations are still underway.
As a socially responsible company, Chan Brothers Travel sees the urgency to issue a fraud and scam alert to the public of such fraudulent misrepresentation and suspicious marketing to avoid anyone falling victim to such scam.
Chan Brothers Travel reaffirms that it is not affiliated with these time-share companies and their associated activities. Anyone receiving calls, emails or any other forms of solicitation with fraudulent claims of affiliation with Chan Brothers Travel should notify the travel agency immediately.
