NATAS Inbound members were invited to visit one of the latest attractions, the Singapore Coins and Notes Museum. Located at level 3, 2 Trengganu Street, the Singapore Coins and Notes Museum is the country's first and only museum dedicated to displaying currency.
Through the intimate but novel exhibits, visitors will be able to journey through a world of coins and notes form the earliest objects used for barter trade to the latest cutting-edge polymer notes. With emphasis on pre- and post-independence Singapore, the Museum shows how foreign coins and notes used here eventually gave way to Singapore-made currency that was vital in her early nation-building days. The innovative excellence of the Singapore Mint and the Monetary Authority of Singapore in the design and production of world-renowned coins and notes is also showcased
