Dear Travel Partners

Singapore remains as a safe destination

The spread of Influenza A (H1N1) has now reached over 100 countries with about 59,000 cases worldwide (World Health Organization, 26 June 2009). This being a type of virus similar to the seasonal flu, it is expected to be around and to co-exist with society. WHO considers the overall severity of this influenza pandemic to be moderate!

The Singapore government and its people are not only prepared to handle the flu but are also committed to ensure that life goes on as normal as possible. Our businesses, schools as well as community services and activities are carrying on as usual.

As such, there is no health concern regarding travel to Singapore.

Singapore continues to be a safe and enjoyable destination for business and leisure travel.
